Tomorrow, Loop will participate in the Smarter Mobility Africa Summer, which will run from 5 to 7 October 2022 in Tshwane, South Africa.
The summit brings together thought leaders from business, government, academia and more. It will see over 100 speakers, more than 750 attendees and more than 50 exhibitors covering fifteen themes.
As a tech start-up based in Cape Town, Loop is proud to be making its presence felt at the summit this year. Loop provides an app-based platform for members of the public to book minibus taxis as shuttle services for once-off trips. The service is used by corporates who transport staff, events
staff and attendees, and other groups of citizens who have to travel together.
Loop Founder, Imtiyaaz Riley said, “Our major aim in being here this week is to establish our industry presence. Loop is here. We are shaking things up. We are pushing the envelope. We are determined to make a difference and to create impact in the minibus taxi space; and being present at these important gatherings where key industry players and stakeholders are present is an important part of our work now. So we are very excited to be here.”
The team behind Loop are hard at work executing a strategy aimed at a pre-seed investment raise in December 2022. They are currently establishing a proof of concept, but are generating revenue and getting all their social media and other marketing strategies in place.
